Hello,
Can anyone tell me why:
1) Windows mobile 2003 (Intermec device) DUN connection to RAS Server via
BT (Motorola/Nextel) modem authentication/connection never completes?
note: Phone shows "data call setup" and below is corresponding failed excerpt
from modem.log on the W2K3 RAS server:
08-24-2007 14:28:24.296 - TSP(0000): Dropping Call
08-24-2007 14:28:24.296 - Hanging up the modem.
08-24-2007 14:28:24.296 - Hardware hangup by lowering DTR.
08-24-2007 14:28:24.531 - Detected CD dropped from lowering DTR
08-24-2007 14:28:25.531 - Timed out waiting for response from modem
2) A Windows XP Pro DUN connection to RAS Server via BT (Nextel) modem authentication/connection
does complete successfully.
3) A Windows Mobile 2003 (IPAQ) DUN connection to RAS Server via BT (Nextel)
modem authentication/connection does complete successfully.
Is there a shortcoming or setting in the BT stack on the 1) device that makes
it different from the 3) IPAQ device using the same OS? Are there settings
configurable via registry or other means? Is there any way for me to enable
or enhance the BT stack on 1) device?
Thanks in adance,
drud
