I have an alarm set to go off at 3:45a for work. I temporaily have a
different schedule, so I changed the time to 3:30a. The alarm goes off
at 3:30 and 3:45 now with the same caption. I have another alarm that
I set for one time use and it still goes off with the caption I
orginally had for it. I know how to set and deactivate alarms in
"Clocks & Alarms" but I am not sure where these "ghost" alarms are
hiding.

It's (yet another) bug in the WM alarm app. My theory is that it
happens when you reset the device at some point between editing an
alarm and the edits being written to the device's "Notifications
Queue"- an area of memory that tells the device when to perform
scheduled tasks.

The "ghost alarms" are still registered in queue which require
special software, like Memmaid, to edit. Be careful, however-
deleting the wrong items in the queue can silence all of your alarms
"forever"- or at least until you hard reset. I used Scarybear's free
Queue editor to "fix" mine twice- both times resulting in the need to
hard reset. I learned my lesson and bought Memmaid! Wink

(To be fair to the good folks at Scarybear, they DO warn you against
using their program on WM5 devices- it was made for PPC 2003 devices,
but I of course "knew better!")
