Post subject: WM5 and Microsoft Reader Activation
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>pocketpc>ebooks (more info?)

Some time ago, here in this newsgroup I read about the problem with
activating MS Reader on some of the new Windows Mobile 5 devices such as the
HP hx2790. Without activation, it's impossible to read DRM-protected books
that were previously purchased and read on older devices.

I remember reading about a pending patch to fix this problem. Any word on
when or if that will arrive?
