Can All My Toys Get Along? (ical, Palm Desktop, M500)

Well, I finally went and done it. I went and purchased my first mac
(dual core intel mac mini) and I'm happier than heck.
But I now I need to get everything all sync'd up.
Right now I have my M500 and my Palm Desktop (on a PC) at work talking
together just fine, the way I want it.
What I want to do is copy everything from my M500 to Palm Desktop on my
home Mini.
My assumption is that I get this done via the "Hotsync --> Custom -->"
and telling the Handheld to overwrite the Computer.
It should create a new user on my Mini and then I should have work
PC/home Mini/M500 all working together. Fine and dandy.
I'm not sure how to do this with iCal.
I've got iSync installed.

Is there a way to get my M500 or the Mini Palm Desktop to copy
everything to iCal and Address Book? Or am I doomed to recreate
everything? That's a lot of typing.

I want my main software at home to be iCal and my main software at work
to be Palm Desktop.

All this is making my head hurt. And these pretzels are making me
thirsty!
