Whenever I sync my phone to my new PC with Windows Mobile Device
Center, I get an error that it cannot sync one appointment. It was a
recurring appointment if that matters.

The interesting part is - the appointment doesn't appear in either
Outlook 2007 or on the phone! I'd like to be able to get rid of the
error.

Yes I've deleted the partnership and started again, but that doesn't
seem to make any difference. Any ideas? Is the appointment there on
either end, so I can delete it?

Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ian,

If its a recurring appointment, you can try to filter the view to show all
recurring appointments and then move it to another Calendar folder. Allow
the sync to complete and then move them back in small sets. For all you
know, it might be a recurring appointment without an end date.

Hi Raj,

What's wrong with having no end date? Most of mine are set that way..weekly
meetings, birthdays, etc.

It's a bug in some (all?) versions of WinMo- open-ended recurring
apointments cause sync problems.

I just set far flung end-dates (i.e. 100 years in the future) for my
recurring appointments with no set end date (like birthdays, etc.)
