I'm at my wits end here. I've tried just about everything to transfer .ebo's
from my pc version of reader to my PPC. I've tried different directories on
my ppc, deleting the litpath.lpt file, reinstalling reader, checking other
posts and editing my registry entries to conform with Christine from MS
Reader's posts. My ppc reader is activated (i assume correctly since it
reports it is). Nothing seems to help, any ideas?

Glenn:

Can you clarify a bit what you mean by "won't open .ebo files"? If you mean
you tap on the file and it doesn't recognize the file association this is
becasue there are no quotes around the file path in the registry (e.g it
should be "\program files\microsoft reader\msreader.exe" %1 instead of
\program files\microsoft reader\msreader.exe %1).

If you mean that it doesn't recognize your annotations after moving them to
a storage card you need to make sure that you are movingt the book that they
are associated with to the card as well otherwise the Reader won't recognize
them. If you want to use your storage card with your books I recommend that
you start out with your books on your storage card that way when you create
annotations they are automatically created on the storage card.

Let me know if you have any questions or if this does not resolve your issue
and I will do my best to assist you.

Sincerely,
Christine - Microsoft Reader Team
