Hi everyone.

I know it can sound like a newbie question, but i'm pretty new to
mobiles' world.
Maybe this is a chance to learn something about mobiles' programs'
installations procedures (if there are particular).

Anyway, I followed this steps:

1) went to http://www.phm.lu/products/PocketPC/RegEdit/ and (obviously)
clicked "Download PHM Registry Editor"
2) checked "agree license", selected "desktop installer", then clicked
"download" (be patient with me please Very Happy !!!)
3) ran the PHMRegEdit.msi installer
4) it asks me to install Sybase PocketBuilder 2.0, which is by the way
already installed, so I confirm it. Installation procewss then ends.

What to do now?
I have a "C:\Programmi\PHM\PHM Registry Editor" folder on the
desktopPC, full of .CAB files, "regedit.AS30.ini", "regedit.AS36.ini"
and setup.exe which has been already launched by the previous inst
process. Each .CAB contains 10 files, whose extensions are .000 to .009
or .xml.

How to proceed now?

Thank you all, bye

You needed ActiveSync!

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/activesync45.mspx
setup.exe at the bottom of the page.

Then when you run the installer on your desktop it'll install regedit
on the device. Simple as that. Also once its in active sync you can add
and remove the app from the device without needing to run the original
msi installer.
