I find that when I edit notes, could be in Outlook or on the Palm 800w (WM
6.1, XP, Outlook 2003) they won't sync, showing:

---------------------------
Microsoft Outlook
---------------------------
Cannot synchronize 'Palm 800w' with the device. It may be in use or you may
not have enough device memory.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Sometimes I get the very helpful message:

---------------------------
Microsoft ActiveSync
---------------------------
Notes: attention required
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

The note is not in use, and I have lots of memory. In one case the note was
edited on the phone while it was not connected. The other case had some
editing on the on the PC while the phone was connected.

Any ideas?

John

I had the same problem. Here is how I fixed it:

1. Pick Tools / Options from the ActiveSync menu
2. Uncheck the box for notes
3. Click on the "OK" button.
4. Wait for ActiveSync to finish synchronizing.
5. Pick Tools / Options from the ActiveSync menu
6. Check the box for notes
7. Click on the "OK" button.
8. Wait for AcriveSync to finish synchronizing
9. At this point I had one unresolved issue, but when I clicked on "resolve
issues" it let me choose to replace the item on my mobile device or PC and
after that everything synchronized with no issues.
