Post subject: How to Format Compact Flash for HP 200LX on a Mac?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>sys>palmtops (more info?)

I have an old Compact Flash card that I decided to format as to fastest
way to clear the data off. So I put it in the card reader on my Mac and
told it to erase it and create an MS_DOS(FAT) volume. This is did, but
now my HP 200LX won't recognize it at all.

None of the options in the disk utilities seem to help. (They all want
to create bootable disks or Apple partitions or some such.)

Help?
