Hello
I recently purchased an X51v and almost immediately experienced problems
reading ebooks from the SD card (Kingston 256MB). After a few pages of
reading, MSReader tells me that it can no longer access the book. I have
to close MSReader and eject the card before re-inserting it and
re-opening the book again. A dozen pages further on and the same thing
happens.
I spoke to Dell about the problem and they advised me that this was a
known problem with MSReader on WM5 with SD cards. They told me that I
should wait for MicroSoft to update the MSreader software for WM5 and in
the meantime copy the relevant book to BIS and read it from there. This
I duly did and experienced no further problems.
Last week I noticed that MS have updated the MSReader software and duly
downloaded the new version and installed it. But the problem still
exists whenever I have the book on the SD card.
Is there likely to be any further work on MSReader with regard to this
problem or should I start looking to locate another reader for LIT books.

I have problems with my Ipaq 2495 memory card as I cant always directly save
word files from ram memory. I often must first save to ROM, then move them
over to the sd card. Tech dept says that its a ram issue, not enuf ram
memory left left to use, but when i close down the other open apps, I have
the same problem.....waiting for a software upgrade, only don't know.
