Archived from groups: microsoft>public>pocketpc>activesync (more info?)

I recently had a corrupt mail profile so created a new profile in
Outlook to fix the issue. The problem I'm now having is that whenever
I active sync my treo to my Outlook 2002, I get the following message:

"Cannot synchronize with the Outlook profile you are using because a
different profile was previously set up or the profile is password-
protected,
please open Outlook using the appropriate profile"

I can't go back to using the old outlook profile and my current
profile doesn't have a password. I would really appreciate any advice
anyone can give me on getting my contacts and calendar back into my
Outlook (rather scary to think that none of it is backed up).

Hi,

You will need to delete and recreate the partnership in ActiveSync. Have
