Archived from groups: alt>cellular>t-mobile (more info?)

we got a motorola v3r or v3_305 (r4515)which probably originated in europe
and we are using it in california on a prepaid t-mobile account.
the phone case has a t-mobile imprint on it.

if we dial 1 or 123 we get a german language voicemail menu.
we have to dial our own phone number to get into english language voicemail.

anyone understand what's happening and how to change the german voicemail to
english.

thanks
