Post subject: V3 Modifications Advice Requested
Archived from groups: alt>cellular>motorola (more info?)

I have a V3 (type MQ3-4411H11) and want to make three modifications:
1) Increase the handset volume
2) Increase the font size of phone numbers displayed on the screen
3) Do something to improve screen visibility in sunlight.

I've never done any modifications before, and in fact have never owned
a mobile phone until recently, so am working from a nil knowledge base,
but have been following this newsgroup for a few weeks. I live in
Australia.

My questions are:
1) Which program (PK2 or Motokit) is easiest to allow me to do the
mods I want?
2) How large is the download file?

My computer is Win98/2ed, so I hope to download the program, transfer
it to a floppy (or memory stick if necessary) and then use someone's XP
machine to do the mods. Is this going to work?

Any advice much appreciated.
