Great blog. Great reasons NOT to buy one, too:

http://www.macblogz.com/2008/12/17/iphone-dev-spends-500k-on-development-
still-not-approved-by-apple/

500 Grand down the drain until the Blackberry version goes online.

12/17 was yesterday. I read somewhere else that Walmart doesn't get them
until AFTER Christmas, Dec 27th. This manager was dreaming, I suppose, or
had been lied to, not unheard of at Wally World.

Real can write it, but will apple allow it ?
Flash can be ported over as well. Will apple allow it ?
There has to be a reason there is no flash support. I'm thinking the CPU
Cant take the strain.

Try going to a flash web site and you get nothing on a iPhone.

One of the biggest request for the iPhone is MMS. Lord only knows why after
18 Plus months there is still no MMS Support.

iPhone users need more flashlight apps.

Wrong guess. Adobe is currently writing it.

Livestation demonstrates live streaming on the iPhone. Watch from the
start at www.livestation.com/iphone

iPhone Preview English is included with your main Livestation channel
pack, available when you download the Livestation player.

Give it a rest Larry. LiveStation is an improved way of streaming live
video. I am testing it as I type this.
Works just as good as any other solution I have seen. I am watching a
terrorist attack live on one of the middle eastern channels.

Too bad so sad for the jhidists it looks like the all got gunned down
with at least one cop still standing and a bunch more hurting or dead.

It is a little hard following the narrative since it is in Arabic.

What is really neat is that the underwater INTERNET fiber feed from
this area was cut yesterday so this has to be from a satellite feed.

LiveStation also transmits radio station audio feeds like several
other streaming applications all ready do on the iPhone.
LiveStation's, which is partially owned by Microsoft, claim to fame it
it does video too.

And like I said. Is apple going to allow it ? I'm sure It will be allowed as
Adobe would not do it unless Apple already ok'ed it.

What about MMS ? Has to be some reason why for that as well.

More Flashlight apps please.

There is no streaming support because of AT&T Wireless, not Apple. ATT
will do anything to prevent the iPhone from using BANDWIDTH, and evidence
of that is the total lack of 3G streaming on iPhone. Notice how some
"features" automatically get turned on when you connect it to a wifi
node....further evidence it's ATT's hobbling.

Hey! It's a SELLphone! It's hobbled up just like all the other
SELLphones!........to maximize carrier profits with a minimum investment in
bandwidth and infrastructure.

Chickens will come to roost. Wimax does over 6.5Mbps down and 2.5Mbps up
in Baltimore, on a laptop on the street.....Patience, my son, patience....

But, once again, we're talking about a CONVERTER, not a codec. Livestation
is converting common formats to the very limited ability of the iPhone to
play. And, of course, this is, after the beta period is over, going to
COST you EXTRA, probably through your ATT bill so they can justify letting
it use bandwidth.

Another BOX OFFICE product for more and more profit.....not a real codec
you can stream UNCONTROLLED like Flash, Realmedia, mms, wmv on a wide
variety of webpages across the planet.

Where are the CODECS?

Yeah. Keep thinking that. Not everyone has e-mail to get pictures.

So your saying that people are requesting Flash Light apps more then MMS,
Copy and Paste, Flash and so many more apps that come syandard on 95% of
other phones huh ?
