Someone deleted his brain long ago.

So far, it seems to be a pretty minor update. There's a couple of new
menu items; e.g., you can now set the SMS service center number in GSM
mode, instead of having the wired-in default for Vodafone NL, making the
phone more useful with other SIMs. There may be a bugfix or two related
to the handling of Get It Now apps.

There are, however, side effects. Some of the settings on the phone were
reverted to the default.

More annoying was the fact that the upgrade reapplied the subsidy lock on
the GSM side. Fortunately, I wrote down the subsidy unlock code when I
got it from Verizon last January; and even more fortunately put that with
my other Verizon-related paperwork so it "only" took me about 10 minutes
to find that code.

It would have been rather upsetting to go overseas and to find that the
phone was subsidy-locked again...
