No I actually meant I wouldn't have to press anything so yes I did mean it
would answer when it rings as my Nokia did. |

But why would you hope that the OP didn't mean auto-answer as clearly
indicated? Surely whether or not you find that facilty useful is entirely
irrelevant re what the OP asked? |

But didn't that facilty have to be set up through the headset first? It
certainly has to in the car kit and works perfectly with the iPhone. |

Yes I could see that being a problem! But I always have my Iphone playing
music in the car and a call automatically mutes it so you know a call has
come in. If the iphone is in ring mode it gives you a warning bleep just
before it auto-answers. |

For *me*, the ideal auto-answer would require nothing whatsoever on my part,
but not actually answer the phone until a pre-determined (by me) number of
rings, during which I have the option to look at who's calling and cancel
the call if I wish. That's not the way I'd always want it set up, but I'd
like it to be an option.
