I am getting this on my phone(PM-6225).
This answer on yahoo is based on another phone but I did the analagous
thing on my phone and it worked! This must be a general fix then.

The gist of the areticle is that if you are getting this error to try this:
1) take battery off the phone for 1 min..
2) go to menu, setting, security,
3) Enter your security code. If it doesnt work or you dont know it try
the last 4 of your phone number.
4) there should be an option that says something to the effect
of--"clear token; clear picture token; reset picture token; reset
picture" something along those lines
DO NOT do anything that says erase.
5) It will probably ask you to confirm if so press ok..
6) then go take a picture then instead of sending it go to options and
UPLOAD it first.
7) it may ask for a pw. if you know your pic pw then put it in. If you
have never had a pic mail acct before u will need to create one. After
that it should upload and then u can send.
The thing is that I am pissed my calls to sprint customer service didn't
reveal this!
Complete bullshit that their reps don't know this stuff!
