E65 firmware v3: Java games images much smaller?

I updated my E65 to the latest firmware, i.e. 3.0633.69.0

Then I reloaded my favourite games from handygames.com . To my surprise
the icons are very small (each side reduced to 50% or smaller from what
they used to be and as such much smaller than the standard icons on the
phone).
When starting the games, all images on the games were reduced by the
same size! The territories in Townsmen or in My Model Train totally fit
on the screen (with space around them), beating part of the problems.
Plus of course interesting details that are not distinguishable anymore.

Anyone had similar experience? Any clues how to resolve? (I contacted
the vendor already).
