Just a comment as I am new to Verizon.
Treo 700W clock did not update to Daylight Savings time this morning.
I had to "power Off/On" the phone. (For network update)
Pretty poor of any phone that doesn't update to DST, especially an expensive
one.
Seeing as this phone locks up everyday, the problem must be due to using
Microsoft's software.

Hope someone didn't miss an important appointment today.
Again, just a comment. :>(

This is universal to all models of CDMA phones. CDMA phones don't know
the DST rules; they get their time from the cell site when they register
with the network. Registration requires transmitting, which uses up the
battery, and thus the phones really try to avoid transmitting. As long
as you are in your home system, and not moving between cell sites, and
not making calls, there is no compelling need to re-register. My phone
didn't pick up DST until noon Sunday, when we went out to lunch and the
phone moved to a new cell site. If you really want the clock to be
reset, you can just make a call to any number, such as *611, since the
phone re-registers after a call.
