This is universal to all models of CDMA phones. CDMA phones don't know
the DST rules; they get their time from the cell site when they register
with the network. Registration requires transmitting, which uses up the
battery, and thus the phones really try to avoid transmitting. As long
as you are in your home system, and not moving between cell sites, and
not making calls, there is no compelling need to re-register. My phone
didn't pick up DST until noon Sunday, when we went out to lunch and the
phone moved to a new cell site. If you really want the clock to be
reset, you can just make a call to any number, such as *611, since the
phone re-registers after a call.
