Post subject: All of the sudden my wmv files won't play
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsmedia>player>mac (more info?)
i have 10.4.3 installed with windows media player 9 and i have been
able to watch and listen to wmv fine untill all of the sudden no wmvs
will play now. even the sample one microsoft gives you wont play. i
have rebooted and reinstalled. any ideas

Quit the app, repair the permissions, trash the pref and .plist file and
reboot. Hopefully it'll fix the problem. If you need them, additional
details can be found in the FAQ.

Did you recently change the name of your hard drive ??? WMP freezes when
the name contains any non standard character (even the apostrophe I
believe).
