Any way to save which columns are displayed in mail folder..

I have a million folders in my Mail (Entourage 2004), and every time I
rebuild the database (necessary a couple of times a year, unfortunately),
the views of each folder get re-set to the defaults making me have to go and
change it for each folder. I want it to not show in groups, and not show
certain columns (conversation, categories, etc.) but show others (size,
etc.). Is there any way to save/restore the preferences for columns and
other settings in mail folder views?

Not with Entourage 2004.

Entourage 2008 does a better job at preserving settings during a
Database rebuild. I'm not sure, however, if keeping column settings is
one of them.
