The web forum that interfaces with the Office newsgroup (NNTP) has been
broken since Sept. The people that volunteer their time to answer questions
do not use the Mactopia forum and can't see your messages.

If you use a newsreader rather than the Mactopia interface to this newsgroup
you can download old messages and search for answers or start a new
question.

If you are not familiar with a newsreader, Entourage's basic newsreader
already has the Microsoft News server included. All you do is subscribe to
the newsgroups you want. See this page for help:

But the newsreader is a MUCH better solution in my opinion.

Copy and paste question in Excel - Hi, all. I've been having a very strange thing happen when I attempt to copy and paste a date from one sheet to another: even though the cell's formats match each other, the copied date (say it's 2/27/08) always shows up upon pasting as one day and four....

Stupid question: align left - Please forgive me if I'm being really dumb. In Word 2008, command+e centres text, command+r aligns it right. Why doesn't command+l align it left? Is there another key combination that will do this? Tanks.

Entourage question re "deleted items" folder - My husband's Entourage "deleted items" folder shows the number of items there, but the window that lists the deleted mail is blank. If you select a spot in that window, the deleted email in that line shows up. Any suggestions how to fix this? ...
