Hi,

How can I get printer status.
For example, I want to know if the printer is ready to accept print
request or if it is out of paper.

WARNING: I don't want to get the CUPS server status but printer status !

Try selecting the printer in Printer Setup Utility (Utilities folder)
and click "Supply Levels" in the "Printers" menu. Not all printer
provide any information.
