I want to save a ppt presentation to dvd to play through my dvd player. I successfully saved it to a dvr but when I put it in player it says "unknown disc"

For a home dvd player to play your DVD you need to convert it into a format
that the player understands.

Just to 'burn/write' your info to a blank DVD is not sufficient.
