Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>rdc (more info?)

I have changed the secondary mouse button (to be used in remote system
running Windows XP Professional) to control mouse-click (I am using an Apple
Wireless Mighty Mouse).

If the caps lock keys is enabled (meaning typed keys produce that capital
letter) then pressing control right-mouse-click the the control key is
ignored and only a regular mouse click is processed by the remote system.

THIS HAS CAUSED ME ENDLESS GRIEF until I figured it out. I was rebooting my
remote system, and my iMac, trying to get this figured out.

My iMac is a 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo running OS X 10.5.4 and (as I mentioned
earlier) I am using Remote Desktop 2.0 (080530).

PLEASE FIX THIS SOON...it's driving me nuts. I can't believe you let this
slip by.

While these newsgroups may have Microsoft's name appended to the front,
they are not owned nor maintained by Microsoft. Microsoft started them
for peer-to-peer support (users helping other users) not for feedback to
them years ago and because they live on Usenet they are public domain.

That's not to say you won't occasionally find Microsoft folks posting in
the Microsoft.* newsgroups. In fact, some of them are purposely
monitored as support for enterprise class software but that monitoring
comes with a price tag. No Macintosh product developed by Microsoft has
that support available. However, members of the Macintosh Business Unit
(MacBU) step in from time to time. They offer support. They're not
necessarily here to collect wishes or feedback.

To properly send feedback to Microsoft you need to use their feedback
mechanisms. In every Office for Mac product you can do this by selecting
Send Feedback from the Help menu. Your comments will be collected,
sorted and counted using this method.

Hope this helps!
