Post subject: microsoft office 2008 for mac with service pack 1

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I purchased this product from the university of illinois webstore. However when I put the disk in my macbook pro it just ejects it, and i can not install it. ?

I'm assuming you have original media and not a burned copy. Correct?

Try the media in one or two other computers. If it works for them then
you may need to have your drive inspected by your technical support. The
media is in DVD format, by the way. Does your drive support DVDs?

The other thing you could try to get Office installed on your MacBook Pro is go into System Preferences and go to Sharing. From there, check DVD or CD Sharing then configure another computer on your network (if applicable) for the same and install it over your network to your MacBook Pro.
