Here's one way: Enter two columns of data on a worksheet. Select the data
range. In Mac Excel 2008, choose Insert | Chart | Column | Clustered Column
(the leftmost icon). Click a bar on the chart to select the data series you
want to change from Column to Line. Choose Insert | Chart | Line | Line (the
leftmost icon). Done.
If you have another column of data that you want to use to label the
Horizontal (Category) Axis, select any chart object, and choose Chart |
Source Data, and specify the data range for Category (X) Axis Labels.
