Need help importing mail from crashed server

Hi there,
My computer recently crashed and I lost hundreds and hundreds of emails. I
think I recovered them, but I can't figure out how to import them into my
email. When I double-click on the outlook folders that were recovered, it
just opens a new email.

Is there any hope of recovering these emails? Where would I look on my
harddrive?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
