google adwords

I advertise my software for the Mac via Google Adwords. Recently they
have informed me that I cannot use the words "Mac" or "Macintosh" in my
adds without them having an email from Apple authorizing me to use these
trademarks.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you resolve it? Who did
you contact at Apple get this permission sent to Google?

I have written to Software Licensing at Apple but have no idea if this
is the correct thing to do - it was the closest I could find on the
Developer site.
