Post subject: calculate won't go away
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>office>excel (more info?)

No a big deal but a spread sheet has developed strange behavior. It
displays 'calculate' even though there is nothing to do. Prefs are to
calculate automatically and calculations are being done normally, just
the word won't go away.

I've copied to a new workbook and it shows the same thing.

Excel OSX, Mac Leopard. Was working fine up to now and no other
workbooks show this behavior.

Any ideas?

Thank you. Turning off iteration removed the "calculate" but now shows
a circular error in a cell but the cell value looks normal and is
correct. Still pretty strange. I'll keep hunting.
