Hi,

I found that this problem occurs with Excel 97 (cf kb :
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B176763&x=5&y=8 )
But I have the same bug with Word 2003.

Instead of an icon, I have the first page of the document.

Any idea how to resolve this ?

I looked at the article you linked to which goes back more than 5 years.
There have obviously been a number of changes that have taken place in the
meanwhile, but it is predominantly a Windows issue. You've posted to the
Word for Macintosh newsgroup, so we can't offer much insight here.

I'd suggest you post to one of the Windows Word groups, but they'll need to
know exactly what build of Word you're using & what specific version of
Windows you're running it on. The Win Office groups can be accessed from:
