Hi,
Not sure I'm going to explain this very well but here goes:

I have an input cell with a validation list to select a location (A2) & a
second cell with a validation list to select an office building (A3).

Depending upon these two responses two costs are are populated in my
spreadsheet using vlookup. I now would like to go one step further - on the
choice of the location I would like to only provide the list of office
buildings applicable to that location.

Not sure how easy this is to do but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This should be pretty easy. You need to use defined names to identify the
different ranges for the office buildings rather than fixed ranges. It may
be easier to supply and example, which I'll be glad to do. Send me a copy of
your workbook at the address below and I'll show you how to do it.
