Hello group.

OK, we finally installed a G5 with Tiger at work and now it
appears that our Quark XPress 4.11 will not do it in Classic
mode.......it is not able to find the darn dongle, which by
the way is a USB dongle with the help of iMate. I installed
a new iMate driver (www.griffintechnology.com) but alas it
did not help. Everything else works smoothly.

Does anyone recognize this problem and what to do about it??
We are ready to convert to InDesign, but not there yet and
all our projects are in XPress.
TIA!

Yes it is originally an ADB dongle. I did download the most
recent iMate driver but that did not help. Calling Quark is
not as easy as it sounds, but I will give it a try and
practice my Swiss......

Actually........I downloaded the newest iMate driver again
today, maybe I did something wrong last time, but it works now!

OK sometimes it needs a kick start, two start ups but that
is not as bad as changing computers or having to restart, it
pops up. The only thing is it asks me for Xtensions and
Helpingprograms, but that looks like something that can be
solved with re installation I guess. Thanks for thinking.
