Update: there is a note on Macintouch from Paul Green who has heard from
Monoprice that they will be releasing Mini DisplayPort adapters to DVI
and VGA about mid-January (cheaper than Apple's), and will be doing a
Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (with audio output) at an unspecified
time and price.
No mention of Mini DisplayPort to composite/S-Video, however.
