I have this problem - for some reason RDC connects to a Windows
computer and logs in with chech input as default despite that I am
using estonian on both machines. When I set estonian as the default
input language and remove chech completely - chech input is installed
and set as default again every time I log in from my mac RDC (doesn't
happen when I use RDC from windows). I'm using OS X 10.4.8 on
MacBook(intel), Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Can I fix this problem somehow?

I think that the RDC client is probably reading the scan codes of the
keyboard directly and not using the active Mac OS X keyboard layout. I
have a Mac with a UK keyboard but use the Dvorak keyboard layout in Mac
OS X. When I use the RDC client, the keys revert back to the QWERTY
layout.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a fix for this yet.
