Does anyone know how to automate Remote Desktop Connection client with applescript? I'm basically trying to write an applescript to activate RDC to a specific host and hit the connect button.

tell application "Remote Desktop Connection"
activate
set the contents of text "TextField" of window "Remote Desktop Connection" of application "Remote Desktop Connection" to "ts1"
end tell

can't seem to figure out how to set the text field to a certain host.

can anyone help? thanks!

Sorry, but RDC is not scriptable. It has no AppleScript dictionary.

You can, however, save connection settings files and open those with the
Finder, which will call RDC.

Hope this helps!
