Post subject: PowerPoint launches on startup, why?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>office>powerpoint (more info?)

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Whenever I restart my mac, PowerPoint launches. But it is not included in my logon objects and by right-clicking the PowerPoint symbol in the dock I can see that the option launch on startup is not set (sorry I'm using a German version of osx so I don't know what these menu item's English names are exactly).

Any ideas where the mystery lies?

Kind regards
Martin

Hello Martin,

What happens when you create a new user in
System Preferences and then log in?
Same problem?
If this fixes the problem, we can ascertain that
the issue is somehow related to your user account,
or to an application that starts up when your
user account does.

Jeff
