Pioneer LCD Makes Vista Crash

I have a Sony vaio media center ((VGX-XL302 CEK) with blue ray drive. I had
it connected to a small 20' LCD TV via HDMI which was fine.
However, I recently bought a new Pioneer KRL-46v LCD HD tv and when I
connect this via HDMI to view windows (and hopefully HD movies) it crashes
windows to a blue screen every time (the tv accepts other HDMI inputs without
a problem). I have had the PC sent back to Sony twice but they say there is
nothing wrong with it. I have tried changing the output resolution on Vista
but this has no effect.
Can you suggest anything?

You're in the wrong newsgroup. This is the newsgroup for the Mac
version of WMP.
You should probably repost in the regular WMP newsgroup to find a better
answer :-\
