Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>office>powerpoint (more info?)

I'm running Microsoft Office '97 Professional on a brand new Acer PC with the
Vista operating system.

A friend recently sent me a Microsoft 2007 PowerPoint presentation saved as
a '97 through 2003 doc, and for some weird reason, I can't open and run the
presentation. I'm thinking there must be a compatability issue involving
Vista.

Any suggestsions/advice anyone can share would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Mark
