Hi,

I'm not savy with Mac OS's or software, but have been told to help an
employee migrate their Office2001 generated docs to an XP PC that will
have Office 2003 installed on it. Can anybody out there clue me in on
best practices/steps to accomplish this task. I'm assuming that
documents/spreadsheets/powerpoints created with Office 2001 can be read
on Office 2003?

thanks in advance!

There's no intrinsic problem here, all the files will open. Use whatever
method you want to transfer the files--drag and drop over a network, burn to
CD, etc.

You won't need to convert or anything.

From Office 2001 and OS 9, you might need to add the file extensions to the
filenames for Windows to like double-clicking on them. But File | Open
should work fine regardless.
