Hi,
it's not possible to convert the Test Drive into a full install, even if you
own a registration key. You will need to use the Microsoft Office CD, run
the Remove Office application on it to remove the Test Drive
(Office>Additional Tools>Remove Office) and then install the full version.
Since you are new to the Mac, is the registration key that you own for a Mac
version of Office, or is it from your PC version? You cannot use a Win
Office product key with Mac Office; if you don't own a Mac Office product
key, you will need to buy a copy of Mac Office, I'm afraid.
