Help please. I have Entourage 2004 v 11.4.0. I keep getting error #17900. I am sending mail OK, and seem to be receiving it. (I have sent some to myself). The problem seems to be intermittent. Sometimes I am asked to type in my password, even though I have saved it.

Entourage stores your passwords in the Apple Keychain. Have you tried
running Keychain first aid?
The fact that it's intermittent seems to indicate it could be a problem with
your ISP. Is it specific to certain accounts?

Diane,
You asked if it is specific to certain accounts. It is. I have my main yahoo account, and 2 other accounts. It is specific to the 'other' accounts, but as I said, not all the time.
Also, after running the Keychain repair, it happened again..... error 17900.

Does the error give you any text or explanation?
Again, all the time does not indicate an Entourage problem, but something
between you and your server.
This doesn't sound like database corruption, but some odd problems are
solved when you try in a new Identity.
Under Entourage in the Menu bar select Switch Identity
Create a new test Identity
Enter the accounts that are giving you problems. (set to leave on server fir
the test)
Try working in this Identity to see if the problem exists. (This is a hard
one to test because it's sporadic. I know working in a new Identity might be
very difficult, but sometimes even using the rebuild function not all
corruption is removed. A new Identity is the best test.)
