Post subject: HELP: Virtual Machine Does Not Show Up in Virtual PC List
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>mac>virtualpc (more info?)

I have been running VP7 for some time, and since my initial install
(from scratch) of WinXP SP2 from CD, I have not ever been able to get
my session to stay in the Virtual PC List window. When I launch VPC it
ALWAYS get the "Select a Setup Method" window and the "Virtual PC List"
window is blank. The only way I have been able to get an existing
session to launch is to actually double click on the Windows XP Virtual
PC session file. I still get the "Select a Setup Method: window, but
now I just hit the ESC key and the XP session launches.

NOTE - I originally set up the XP session using the "Select a Setup
Method" window. I've checked the PLIST file and, although the path to
the XP machine file is valid, the XP machine (or any other for that
matter), does not show up on the list.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get my virtual machines to stay
in the list?

Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated
