Many of the solutions come from Users. Many errors aren't even listed
because we have nothing to post.

Very likely the server was down. If this continues. I would first test by
creating a new Identity and enter the account info. Next step is testing in
a new User's account.
Also do the routine if this continues.... Restart, run repair permission,
run the Apple combo updater.
Sorry I have nothing more concrete. As you know Send & Receive errors are
the hardest to track down.
