Hello,
I am new to using a MAC and need to be able to drag messages from my local
folders to the different newsgroups I am subscribed to. When I used OE 6 on
a PC it worked like a champ, but I can't seem to do it on a MAC with
Entourage 2008. Can anyone help?
Please!
Thanks
Odis Franklin

I'm not sure I understand exactly, but you cannot drag a message to a
newsreader.

Cheers and Welcome to Mac! I have a few tips and links posted to help new
users here:

Hello,
Not even from folders within the same application? Is there a workaround for
this?
Thanks for the help!

This is the first time I've even heard of it, so have no clue. Sorry.

Diane, Outlook Express allows you to take a message that's in a folder on
your computer and drag it into the folder for the newsgroup to create a new
posting for the newsgroup. It's an easy way to share a previously sent or
received message with a group.

Entourage does not support this feature. Odis could ask MS for it using the
Send Feedback command on the Help menu.

I'll be surprised if the newsreader survives in future versions. It has
never been upgraded since it was introduced. I use it and lobby to keep it
included. I urge anyone that uses the Entourage newsreader to send feedback.

When working in Office, you can use the ³Send Feedback² option under the
Help menu in all of the Office applications or visit

Thanks for your help. I also tried the Thunderbird newsreader and it did the exact same thing as Entourage.
