Hi,

I'm trying to use a drawing package that uses DirectX via remote
desktop.

When I connect from a PC using mstsc, I can use the app no problem.
However when I connect from my mac, the application gives an error
'unable to initialise DirectX subsystem - your graphics hardware may be
insuffient'.

I can only conclude that the mac implementation of the RDC client can't
support DirectX, or at least fool the OS into thinking that it does.
Bummer. Am I missing something or is this a non-starter?

cheers,
Matt

Okay, I have resolved this myself to some degree of satisfaction thanks
to the awesome TSclientX project[1]

So I guess it is Microsoft's lame OSX implementation of the client that
is to blame. Thanks again to the open-source community for coming up
with a solution.
