Do you have any other apps running at the time?
Did you run the speed check within Toast before trying to burn the cd?
Did you check the original files/folders for possible corruption?

I remember that one particular version of Toast 5 tried forever to write
the "lead out" of a music CD. Such CDs played perfectly until the end of
the last song, but then they were no longer recognised in any audio CD
player. They would not repeat (or they would not shuffle at all) and
hatd to be ejected and re-inserted again.

If this is the same problem with you, you should download an update from
Roxio's Web site. I think 5.2.3 is the most recent version, and this one
does not have the problem described.

A possible solution is to disable the Apple supplied drivers for CD
burning, in case there's some conflict between them and the ones
