Just so you know, if, for any reason, the import of beer and ale from
Belgium to the US is ever cut off, I'm holding _you_ personally and
solely responsible.

Hell that'll never happen. We still get french fries here, don't we? ; )

From _Belgium_? Good, lord, man! Don't let them hear you say anything
but "pommes fritte"! They're _very_ touchy about that.

During the 1980 Canadian federal election, the Parti Rhinoceros (of
which I was a candidate) declared war on Belgium when Tintin blew up a
rhinoceros in the popular comic.
We demanded a case of Belgian mussels and a case of Belgian beer
delivered to our Montreal headquarters as reparations.
The Belgians surrendered, and reparations were made.
Unfortunately, I was in Winnipeg at the time.

If he was charging people for it, I might agree, but he's not and I see
it as offering a service. I do agree it would make more sense to send
the localization patch to Simon and have it integrated up front. |

I was serious about wondering why J.P.'s posts bother you, but that's
about it. I'd think that talking about my dance routine and Belgian beer
would have tipped you off. <g>

During that federal election, I lived in a riding in Montreal (Ste-Marie
I think) where the Rhinoceros Party came in second, ahead of the
conservatives and (for sure) way ahead of the NDP.
I had a ton of fun with Rhinos for a while, until they started taking
themselves seriously, thinking they might actually win a seat in the
parliament.
My over-educated lefty associates at the time were furious: they thought
the Rhinos were taking votes away from the Holy Righteous NDP and
destroying their chances of creating some kind of vicious left-wing
dystopia. This was the election after Joe The Brief (who was pretty
"progressive" for a right-winger) got kicked out of the parliament by
the same over-educated lefty arse-holes.
Jean Chretien (who became justice minister after that election) called
them (the Rhinos) a "threat do democracy."
Dontcha just love thread-drift? Keep up the good work, M. Kuypers.
