Hi!. I registered my copy of Opera, then downloaded a Opera8 for
another person whose laptop I was setting up, liked 8.0, installed it
on my own computer, anyway I am back to adverts, the registration
number seems to be lost. Any Ideas?

Linux Slackware 10.0

Did you save the message they sent you?

Actually, sometimes the ads show only the first time you start a new
version, make sure they are still there after you restart.

Ummm, <blush> No. They went in a cleanout. Inadvertantly.

Then you'll have to email Opera and ask if they can tell you what your
registration code was. Write to support.DeleteThis@opera.com, tell them the details
that you had to supply originally to register (name, email address,
original version registered) and they should be able to find it.
