On my Ubuntu system I have ntop installed.

I have viewed the readouts via http://localhost:3000 but do not seem
able to change my NIC.

Under configure basic preferences I have a line that says 'Capture
Interfaces (-i)' but there is not an active text window beside it; all
the other windows allow text to be entered.

I would like ntop to monitor my wlan0 as well as eth0, is there a config
file somewhere that can be manually amended.

On RedHat systems it's /etc/ntop.conf, Or locate it if your
distribution put it some where else?
And I think you can configure this from GUI Ntop interface, Just try
to write eth0 beside Capture
Interfaces (-i)
